The Johannesburg Freedom first baseman tore up the Pretoria Rhinos to the tune of 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Pretoria Field today. The offensive onslaught from Willets powered the Freedom to a 11-4 win. "Willets was a tough out today," Pretoria manager Fred Hernández said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure." Ian Willets walked in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Doug Maynard in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Carl Mobley in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
