 | Angosisye Packs a Wallop -- Hits 3 HR Against Purple Knights Thursday, September 1st, 2044 Kisabaka Angosisye showed off his power today as he launched three balls into the seats against the Victoria Purple Knights and sparked the Diamonds to a 7-2 victory. "I got some good pitches to hit and turned on them real good," he told reporters in the postgame interview. "I have always liked to hit at Drifters Ballpark." For the day, Angosisye collected 3 hits in 5 at-bats, scored 3 runs and had 5 RBIs. "He was instant offense today," Nairobi skipper Farri Agymah said. "Kisabaka really put on a show." Kisabaka Angosisye struck out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off José Casiquito in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off José Casiquito in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Gilg Winkel in the 7th and struck out in the 8th. This year Angosisye is hitting .241 with 19 home runs and 58 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .303 clip and scored 59 runs. |   |
