 | Dar es Salaam's López Bags SL2 Top Batter for August Thursday, September 1st, 2044 António López of the Dar es Salaam Devils spoke softly and carried a big stick in August and was justifiably proclaimed the Sub League 2 Batter of the Month. The Devils right fielder rapped out a .271 batting average with 29 hits in 107 at-bats, drove in 24, scored 20 runs and chalked up a .380 on-base percentage. Thus far this season López is hitting .257 with 42 home runs, 101 RBIs and 81 runs scored. He has 121 hits in 470 at-bats and has played in 126 games. |   |
