Daniel Sparks Chosen GBC EA's #1 Player Sunday, November 2nd , 2064 He may have less experience than most of his Global Baseball Consortium peers, but that didn't slow Daniel Sparks down at all in 2064. At the age of 24, the London third baseman has been named the winner of the GBC EurAsia Position Player of the Year Award. He had a .293 batting average and a .361 on-base percentage this year. In 155 games he piled up 176 hits, 33 doubles, 4 triples, 48 home runs, 142 RBIs and 117 runs scored. "I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year." Kevin Lambert of the Jerusalem Hebrew Hammers finished second in voting, while Roy O'Donnell of the Jerusalem Hebrew Hammers finished third. |
