GBC Selects Rookie Star of the Month Sunday, October 1st , 2051 Grzegorz Kubrick earned September's Rookie of the Month honors in the Global Baseball Consortium for last month's performance. The boyish Tokyo left fielder might be wet behind the ears, but he's proving that he has what it takes to play at this level. Kubrick hit .255 with 10 home runs, 17 RBIs and 17 runs scored this past month on his way to winning the award. Kubrick has collected 148 hits for the Pearls this year, 41 of them home runs. He has also netted 103 RBIs and scored 85 runs while batting .278. |
