Ibarra Grabs C1 Reliever of the Year Award

At the age of 18, Gabriel Ibarra says he still has a lot to learn about life in International Finishing Consortium.
But he certainly seems to be a quick study, as the Taipei Black Bears reliever was better than all others this year and has captured the 2053 Conference 1 Reliever of the Year Award.
"I hope to win this a few more times before all is said and done in my career," the San Cristóbal, Venezuela native said.
For the season, Ibarra had 1 save in 20 relief appearances, which totaled 29.2. He fanned 27 betters, while walking 19 and put up a record of 4-0 to go with his 0.91 ERA.
He received 18 first place votes out of a possible 24. Rahimat bin Nuri of the Tokyo Samurai finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while Alexander Folsom of the Tokyo Samurai finished third with 1 first place vote.
