5-for-7 Day for Scott Friday, February 28th , 2053 Mick Scott was at the head of a Helsinki Jokerit hit parade today at Gunners Field. The 20-year-old went to the plate 7 times and came away with 5 hits, but it was the Arsenal Gunners that marched off with the 16-12 win. "We didn't have it today," griped Jokerit skipper Mike Bradshaw following the game. "Mick did fine, but as a team, we didn't do it with the bats and we didn't do it pitching." Scott did more than fine, dominating the Gunners at the plate during his record-making 5-for-7 performance. "Each time I went to the plate, I was thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere," the sweet-swinging center fielder told reporters. "When I focus on that, I usually have quality at-bats." Mick Scott doubled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Adrian Preftokis in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, struck out in the 7th, struck out in the 9th and doubled in the 11th.
