Round 1 Goes the Distance, Arsenal Prevails Tuesday, February 25th , 2053 Depending on your loyalties, the Round 1 was either thrilling or heartbreaking. The series went down to its final game, with the Arsenal Gunners and the Oslo Kings giving their fans plenty of drama. In the end, the Gunners came out on top, winning 5-4 at Gunners Field today to take the series 4-3. "We're lucky to be going into the Round 2," said Arsenal pitcher Milorad Stojkovic. "If all the series are like this, it'll definitely be an entertaining postseason." Stojkovic earned series MVP honors, hitting for a .394 average, with 4 home runs, 11 RBI and 10 runs scored. The Arsenal Gunners will play against the Helsinki Jokerit in the next round. Helsinki won their series against the Belfast Burgundy Brigade 4 games to 1.
