No Late-Season Magic Coming: Brussels Out of Playoffs Friday, February 14th , 2053 The playoff chase by the Brussels Royal Guard has run out of steam. The club was officially eliminated from postseason contention today. "We came up short," manager César Ramos said. Brussels last appeared in the postseason in 2049. This is their 4th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 15 times in their 19 - year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Royal Guard have only made the playoffs once. |
