Red Baron Markus Palonen to Miss Year Sunday, February 2nd , 2053 Injuries are something every team has to deal with. That fact struck home for the Red Baron when after today's game against the Wyverns, the club found out they would be without the services of Markus Palonen for at least 5 months. After the game, his manager said of the incident, "You hate to lose anyone to injury. That's always a negative." Palonen was injured earlier today throwing a pitch and suffered bone chips in his elbow. Palonen has collected 6 saves for the year with 12 strikeouts and 5 walks in 12 innings while registering a 1.50 ERA and a 0-1 won-lost record. |
