Konishi Goes 5-for-5 Sunday, January 12th , 2053 It was a parade of hits for Shoichi Konishi of the Tokyo Samurai at Dragons Field today. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Konishi finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Samurai to a 22-1 victory. "Konishi was really good and we were really bad," groaned Dragons manager Harold Blackford. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him."
