Athens Olympians Clinch First in Conference 1 Old European Monday, February 12th , 2052 Kit Venizelos said it takes "a lot of dedication and sacrifice" to win a division title. That's why he and his Athens Olympians teammates were so excited to celebrate their Conference 1 Old European championship today. "It's been a team effort all year long," he said. "You don't get to this point without the guys in the room believing in what we're doing." That belief has paced the club to a 22-15 record on the season. It is the club's 3rd Conference 1 Old European championship and puts them in position for their 1st International Finishing Consortium championship. "It's a talented bunch in that room," manager Fabio Blankendal said pointing to his celebrating players. "I wouldn't bet against us." |
