Lall Murty Hurt, Out for Year Friday, January 26th , 2052 Lall Murty is doubtful to make the playoffs this year, according to sources within the Warsaw organization. Although the injury was initially thought to be not serious, tests have revealed the player will be out up to 4-5 months with a broken bone in the elbow. The 18-year-old center fielder suffered the injury running the bases in a recent game against the Beijing Express. In 22 games this season Murty has compiled a .259 batting average with 21 hits and 4 home runs. He has also scored 12 times and knocked in 16 runs. |
