Hit Streak Now at 20 for Procter Thursday, January 11th , 2052 Dean Procter's consecutive-game hitting streak has now climbed to 20 games. The Manchester right fielder smacked 1 hit against the Madrid Armada in today's game at Armada Field, but he expressed mixed emotions about the streak after watching the United drop the game, 9-5. "I feel good about the streak, but don't feel good when we lose," he told reporters. "I'd love to get a hit as well as a win next time so I can celebrate properly." Dean Procter flied out in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and walked in the 9th. This season Procter is batting .457 with 11 RBIs, 12 runs scored and 3 home runs. |
