Red Baron on to Round 2 Wednesday, February 22nd , 2051 Todd Filby said he didn't even realize how well he had been playing in the Round 1 until he was shown his own statistics. The Munich Red Baron left fielder put up a .364 average with 2 home runs, 8 RBI and 3 runs scored, enough to earn him series MVP honors. It all added up to his Red Baron advancing to the Round 2, with a 4-1 series win over the Rome Gladiators. "I didn't really pay attention to the numbers or my stats at all as we went along," he said. "I'm just so focused on trying to help the team win, that's it." The series victory had become official with a 5-4 triumph at The Coliseum. Even if Filby is not paying close attention to his stats, the rest of baseball certainly will be keeping an eye on him as the playoffs continue. "I like to be under pressure and think I respond well to it," he said. The Munich Red Baron don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Taipei Black Bears - Seoul Dragons series. Taipei leads the series 3 games to 2. The Round 2 is scheduled to begin on February 26th , 2051.
