Hit Streak Now at 20 for Harmon Tuesday, July 29th , 2059 With 3 hits at The Hay Field, Rusty Harmon added another game to his hitting streak -- the Havana right fielder has now hit safely for 20 games in a row. But the hitting feat wasn't enough for the Cigars, as they fell, 2-1, to the Hastings Haymakers. "Frankly, I don't care about hits," Hastings manager Víctor Asario said later. "I'll let him get 5 hits in 5 at-bats if it means we get a win." Rusty Harmon flied out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. Harmon is currently batting .370 with 1 home run and 32 RBIs. |
