Cigars Cruise to Supremacy Series with Sweep Monday, September 2nd , 2058 The Havana Cigars have swept the Santo Domingo Sea Turtles and are on to the Supremacy Series. Havana won 6-2 today at Castro Field to clinch the The Showdown. "We're happy to have put the dagger in when we had the chance," said Havana first baseman Todd Driscoll, who was named MVP for the series. "It could have been a tough series to finish if we let them start winning." Driscoll won the award with a .571 batting average and a .500 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 2 runs. The Havana Cigars don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Daytona Beach Cruisers - Bogota Scholars series. Daytona Beach leads the series 1 game to 0. The Supremacy Series is scheduled to begin on September 4th , 2058.
