Hastings Devastated by Playoff Elimination Saturday, August 24th , 2058 The Hastings Haymakers season has ultimately ended in disappointment. After staying in the hunt until the final days of the season, Hastings has now been officially eliminated from playoff qualification. "We were so close," left fielder Joe Roy said wistfully. Hastings last appeared in the postseason in 2054. This is their 4th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 33 times in their 43-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Haymakers have missed the playoffs 3 times. Hastings last won the Supremacy Series in 2054. |
