Sub League 1 Central Coast Champs Crowned: Daytona Beach Cruisers Wednesday, August 14th , 2058 The Daytona Beach Cruisers said they expected to win the Sub League 1 Central Coast from day one. It is now closer to the end than it is to day one, but that brash attitude has paid off, as the team has in fact clinched the division. "We believe in each other and we think we're by far the best team in the division. We proved that this year," said closer Sergio Aragón. "We're sitting at 50-16 right now, well ahead of the rest of the division, it feels good. This is a statement for us." Whether the confidence carries over into the team's 7th Supremacy Series remains to be seen, but this is the 19th time they have won the division. |
