Cruisers Lacey Strikes out 17 Saturday, August 10th , 2058 Daytona Beach Cruisers starter Art Lacey brought his best stuff to Hogg Pound today against the St. Kitts Selects, striking out 17 batters in his club's 10-0 victory. In a strong performance, the 23-year-old Lacey gave up 3 hits in his 7.2 innings of work and issued 2 walks. "I felt good out there," he said after the game. "My fastball had a lot of life and my fastball was sharp. It was giving hitters fits and working well for me." His record for the year is 6-2 in 9 starts and Lacey has a 3.44 ERA.
