Kinney Belts 5 Hits Tuesday, August 6th , 2058 Getting 5 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the Saint Johns's 12-10 win over Caracas today, second baseman Paul Kinney was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Ballpark of Caracas. "To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Kinney said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close." Paul Kinney singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, flied out in the 6th, singled in the 7th and doubled in the 9th. So far this season Kinney has gotten 36 hits in 113 at-bats for a .319 batting average with 3 home runs. His stats include 18 RBIs and 22 runs scored. He has played in 31 games.
