Dovantes 5-for-6 Against Aruba Sunday, August 13th , 2056 José Dovantes got the glory and the headlines today, but the Aruba Gold left with the win. The Port of Spain left fielder easily handled the Gold pitching, going 5-for-6, but his Port of Spain Royales came out on the short end of the 3-1 score. Dovantes told BNN reporters in the postgame interview he would happily trade "three or four" of his hits for a win. "Heck, maybe even all of them," he said with a laugh. "Right now, it just seems like one loss in a long season but who knows what it could mean at the end."
