Stars Prevail, as Round 2 Goes to the Wire Saturday, March 9th , 2058 In an exciting Round 2 that had its fair share of drama and intrigue, perhaps it is High School All-Star Teams fans who have come out the winner. But on the field, the winners were the Texaco Stars, who edged the Exxon Oilers 4-3 to advance to the Round 3. Texaco won the final game by a 4-3 count to wrap up the series. Gabriel Franco earned series MVP honors, by hitting .444 with a .531 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 3 runs. The Texaco Stars will play against the STX Soul in the next round. STX won their series against the Goodyear Tire 4 games to 0. The Round 3 is scheduled to begin on March 10th , 2058.
