Tigers Win Round 1 Wednesday, February 27th , 2058 The joy and relief on the faces of the Intelligrated Tigers players was obvious as they celebrated their Round 1 win over the Allis-Chalmers Engines. "In a series like this, the smallest thing can make the difference in how it turns out," said Intelligrated center fielder Chris Broadus, shortly after the 7-5 win that clinched the series 4-3. "We're happy we did what it takes to get it done." The team is now off to the Round 2. Broadus won series MVP honors on the strength of his .467 batting average during the series. He also had a .500 on-base percentage and 3 home runs, drove in 9 RBI and scored 6 runs. The Intelligrated Tigers will play against the Ford Motors in the next round.
