Stars Dominate, Sweep Round 1 Saturday, February 23rd , 2058 The Texaco Stars proved to be too much to handle for the Chang Beer Elephants in the Round 1, and a sweep was the end result. Texaco punched its ticket to the Round 2 on the strength of a 11-5 win in the deciding game, which wrapped up the series 4-0. Texaco right fielder Ed Evans, named series MVP, was instrumental in the sweep, as he mashed Chang Beer pitching to the tune of a .474 average, with a .524 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 2 runs. The Texaco Stars don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Lockheed Wings - Exxon Oilers series.
