Buser Rips Home Depot for 5 Hits Tuesday, February 12th , 2058 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Nikolaus Buser today -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Cincinnati HS Grounds and paced the Oilers to a 26-13 win over the Home Depot Hammers. After his dynamite batting performance, the Exxon left fielder told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 5 tries and put his name in the record book. Nikolaus Buser hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Neal Chenoweth in the 4th, walked in a run in the 5th, hit a two-run single in the 6th, hit a three-run home run off John Weaver in the 7th and walked in the 9th.
