Season Possibly Over for Carlos Greene Monday, February 4th , 2058 Carlos Greene of the Engines just might have to call it quits for the season. The 14-year-old Allis-Chalmers third baseman received a possible season-ending injury against the Firestone Fires recently at Ballpark of Fort Wayne HS. Greene suffered a stretched elbow ligament while throwing the ball. The Engines medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 6 months. This season Greene is hitting .267 with 2 home runs. |
