League Suspends Fernández and Díaz for Fisticuffs Saturday, January 26th , 2058 Gabriel Fernández of the Berkshire Hathaway Wolves and José Díaz of the Ford Motors will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 5 and 11 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Wolves-Motors game at Field of the Mighty Gulls. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Fernández and Díaz will begin serving them soon. This year Fernández is hitting .383 with 31 hits, 8 home runs, 23 RBIs and has scored 19 runs. |
