Round 1 Goes the Distance, Pillsbury Prevails Tuesday, February 27th , 2057 It went the distance, but the Pillsbury Doughboys finally disposed of the PlayStation Gamers 9-0 in the series clincher at Ballpark of San Antonio HS. Winning the finale gave the Doughboys the series, 4-3. They will now advance to the Round 2. The Most Valuable Player Award went to Pillsbury third baseman Abhiraja Sagar. He batted .500 in the series, collecting 8 RBIs and scoring 3 runs. "Abhiraja deserves it," said Doughboys manager Enrique González. "He was the glue that held our club together." The Pillsbury Doughboys will play against the Adobe Acrobats in the next round. Adobe won their series against the John Deere Mean Green 4 games to 2.
