General Electric Takes Round 3 Friday, March 17th , 2056 In a series that had a little bit of everything, the General Electric Capitals have edged the MGM Gamblers. The two rival clubs went the distance in the tightly-contested Round 3, with a 11-5 win in the clincher being the difference for General Electric and giving them the ticket to the Round 4 with a 4-3 series triumph. "We never stopped believing in ourselves. When push came to shove we were going to get it done," said Gabriel Thomas, who was named series MVP. For the series, Thomas hit .500 with a .531 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 11 RBI and scored 6 runs. The General Electric Capitals will play against the Pillsbury Doughboys in the next round. Pillsbury won their series against the Samsung Lions 4 games to 3.
