Cedeño's Season Could be Over Friday, February 11th , 2056 The Union Carbide Dows learned that Rafael Cedeño is likely to be out for 4-5 months after he injured himself throwing a pitch in today's game against the USS Steel. A round of tests by the team doctor revealed the injury to be a bone spur in his elbow. Upon hearing the diagnosis, the Union Carbide manager told the press, "As you all know, we can't control injuries -- they are a part of the game. We just have to do the best we can until Rafael is back in action." In the current season in 8 starts, Rafael Cedeño has a record of 1-1 with 33 strikeouts in 34.1 innings and a 3.15 ERA. |
