Harley Davidson's González Wins BGL Alberto Guzman Batter Award

Wilson González took High School All-Star Teams by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 14.
For his spectacular campaign, the Harley Davidson Rebels star has been named the 2055 Bill Gates League Alberto Guzman Batter Award recipient.
"To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the catcher.
On the season he compiled a .444 batting average to go with a .545 on-base percentage. The native of Oshkosh, Wisconsin also added 6 doubles, 1 triple, 7 home runs, 32 RBIs and 24 runs scored.
He received 26 first place votes out of a possible 48. Jesús Torres of the Allis-Chalmers Engines finished second in voting with 13 first place votes, while Roberto Mickelson of the Ford Motors finished third with 6 first place votes.
