In the 26-7 Mean Green victory Hollinshead penned his name into the record books, slamming a trio of home runs in one of baseball's finest single-day efforts. "He can hit them out anywhere, right, center, left, it doesn't matter," Chang Beer manager Alberto De Jesús said. "He's super strong and stays on the ball so well." Along with his three home runs, the 17-year-old had 4 hits in 6 at-bats, 12 RBIs and 5 runs scored. "Life will always throw you curves, just keep fouling them off," Hollinshead said after the game, when asked about his hitting philosophy. "The right pitch will come, and when it does, be prepared to run the bases. Or trot around them, like I did today." Lawrence Hollinshead hit a three-run home run off Ming-jiang Liu in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Ming-jiang Liu in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Ken Williams in the 3rd, walked in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, hit a two-run single in the 6th and flied out in the 8th.
