MLN Announces #1 Player Award Thursday, April 11th , 2058 Cornell Schumacher of the Coca-Cola Splash had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Bo Jordan Batter Award for 2058. The 19-year-old first baseman put up a .404 average and a .481 on-base percentage, piling up 74 hits, 20 doubles, no triples, 15 home runs, 50 RBIs and 40 runs scored. He received 18 first place votes out of a possible 32. John Harris of the U.S. Coast Guard Bears finished second in voting with 14 first place votes, while Keith Tims of the Burger King Whoppers finished third.
