Splash Salvador Ángel Down and Out for Year Tuesday, February 26th , 2058 The season is finished for Salvador Ángel of the Coca-Cola Splash. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Splash reliever suffered a fractured elbow while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Marriott Hops. Team doctors said it would take at least 8 months to heal. This season Ángel has made 17 relief appearances with no saves. In 28.2 innings he has fanned 27 hitters and recorded no wins and no losses with a 4.08 ERA. |
