Vallejo's Hit Streak Reaches 25 Games Sunday, February 24th , 2058 Midshipmen right fielder José Vallejo has extended his hitting streak to 25 games. He went 1-for-1 in today's game against the AmGen Chemists. U.S. Navy won the ballgame 4-2. "Got a hit and a win," he said later. "OK, I'll take it." José Vallejo singled in the 9th. For the season Vallejo is currently batting .364 with 3 home runs and 23 RBIs. In 45 games he has reached base at a .450 rate and scored 41 runs to date. |
