Whoppers Out of Playoff Race Sunday, February 24th , 2058 Burger King Whoppers left fielder Keith Tims said it is a "bitter disappointment" for he and his teammates to miss the playoffs. The remarks came hours after the club was mathematically eliminated from 2058 postseason contention. Before this season, the Whoppers last missed the playoffs in 2056. In the 61 years they have been a College Conference All-Stars franchise, they have made the playoffs 14 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Whoppers have missed the playoffs 5 times. Burger King last won the Round 3 in 2048. |
