Week's Top Player: Aflac's Alvarado Monday, February 18th , 2058 The Aflac Ducks received word today that third baseman Iván Alvarado was selected Rockefeller League Player of the Week for his stellar performance in last week's games. Alvarado took full advantage of all 32 plate appearances last week as he hit .429 with 12 hits, 5 home runs, 11 RBIs and 7 runs scored. This year Alvarado has hit at a .312 clip with 49 hits, 12 home runs, 33 RBIs and 25 runs scored. |
