Blue Ribbons Pitching Ravaged by López Friday, January 4th , 2058 General Mills Lucky Charms center fielder José López had a day to remember at Red Jackets Ballpark today, ripping apart the Pabst Blue Ribbons and sparking the Lucky Charms to a 8-4 victory. López wrote his name in the record books with a 5-hit barrage, finishing his special day 5-for-6. "I'm usually a first ball hitter," López told BNN reporters in the postgame press conference. "I think pitchers think batters are going to let the first one go by. I never do. I've always found that it's better to pull the trigger early in the count. Pitchers get real nasty when they get ahead of you, so I try to avoid it."
