U.S. Air Force Playoff Hopes Officially Zero Tuesday, February 20th , 2057 It wasn't meant to be for the U.S. Air Force Falcons this year. Despite a tough battle, they were eliminated from playoff contention today. "It is a bad feeling," said Falcons starting pitcher Dani Clemente. "Once you get into the playoffs, anything can happen. But you've gotta get in there first, and we weren't able to do that." U.S. Air Force last appeared in the postseason in 2048. This is their 9th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 26 times in their 29-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Falcons have only made the playoffs once. |
