José Barrera Captures MLN Bo Jordan Batter Award Sunday, April 9th , 2056 The manager of the Chevrolet Chevys said he thinks José Barrera is only going to get better as he gets older. He may only be 19, but it will be hard to top the first baseman's 2056 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the Mellon League Bo Jordan Batter Award. His winning campaign featured a .328 batting average and a .438 on-base percentage this year. In 50 games he piled up 62 hits, 9 doubles, no triples, 25 home runs, 54 RBIs and 45 runs scored. He received 21 first place votes out of a possible 32.
