Nike's Starter Receives RCK Pitching Award Wednesday, March 1st , 2056 An outstanding 4-0 record in February earned James Gluck the Pitcher of the Month Award in the Rockefeller League. When his name was penciled in to start on the Nike lineup card, it meant trouble for opposing teams. In 27 innings of work, Gluck limited opposing batters to 19 base hits and a .190 batting average. He notched 32 strikeouts, issued 8 walks and had a 2.00 ERA. Gluck has made 11 starts so far this year and put up a 5-2 won-lost record with a 3.50 ERA. In 54 innings he has allowed 44 hits, walked 23 and struck out 73. |
