RCK's Premier Player: Correa of Sydney
Tuesday, April 8th , 2053
The future looks extremely bright for Ricardo Correa. At the age of 20, many players are still trying to find their way in College Conference All-Stars.
Correa has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the Rockefeller League Bo Jordan Batter Award.
"I didn't expect to hit .294 this year, that's for sure," the first baseman said.
The Sydney Wallabies star also put up a .469 on-base percentage this year, with 50 hits, 4 doubles, 1 triple, 25 home runs, 67 RBIs and 47 runs scored.
He received 24 first place votes out of a possible 48. Randall Gray of the Sydney Wallabies finished second in voting with 10 first place votes, while Bob Green of the Gillette Razors finished third with 4 first place votes.
