MLN Top Manager is Vela of Bangkok Saturday, April 5th , 2053 Club officials have reported seeing Carlos Vela at the ballpark as early as 7 am. His dedication, coupled with a shrewd management style and a knack for knowing "who's hot and who's not" earned Vela the Mellon League Manager of the Year Award for 2053. "I guess you could say I pushed all the right buttons at the right time for the Pearls to have the season we did. But keep in mind, too, that I also had a group of dedicated ballplayers who played their hearts out. I thank them for winning this award for me." There was much joy in Bangkok this season. Their beloved Pearls took first place in the Mellon League Donald Trump Division, rounding out the year with a 32-18 record. |
