Black Sox Advance to Round 4 Saturday, March 15th , 2053 The Victory Bell didn't live up to the billing from those who thought it would be an all-out battle to the last game. But the Auckland Black Sox are no doubt pleased by the results, as they have knocked out the Schlitz Tallboys 3-1 to advance to the Round 4. "It doesn't matter how you win it, as long as you win it and get yourself moving forward," said Black Sox right fielder Winston Carreon. "I know a lot of people thought this was going to be a really tight series the whole way through, but we're glad it didn't go right down to the wire." Auckland won the final game by a score of 12-9 at White Knights Ballpark. Carreon was named series MVP after hitting .450 with a .476 on-base percentage. He also had 2 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 7 runs. The Auckland Black Sox don't know who they will face in the next round.
