Pearls Prevail, as Paul Bunyan Trophy Goes to the Wire Tuesday, March 4th , 2053 In an exciting Paul Bunyan Trophy that had its fair share of drama and intrigue, perhaps it is College Conference All-Stars fans who have come out the winner. But on the field, the winners were the Bangkok Pearls, who edged the Manila Sharks 2-1 to advance to the Governors Cup. Bangkok won the final game by a 10-4 count to wrap up the series. Mark Kiernan earned series MVP honors, by hitting .417 with a .562 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 3 runs. The Bangkok Pearls will play against the Auckland Black Sox in the next round. Auckland won their series against the Netflix Streamers 2 games to 0.
