Playoff Bound: Manila Secures Wild Card Thursday, February 27th , 2053 The Manila Sharks said they relish the role of underdogs. The Sharks have captured a Mellon League wild card position and will be looking to make some noise in the postseason. "I hope teams take us lightly because we didn't win the division -- but I think they know that would be a mistake," said first baseman Balbinder Polamreddy. "If teams think we're a pushover, we've got a surprise for them." When the playoffs begin, Manila will be looking for its 2nd Round 4 title. |
