Generals Come up Short of Playoffs Thursday, February 27th , 2053 While some College Conference All-Stars pundits expected the American General Generals to be in this year's playoffs, that won't be the case. The Generals have been mathematically eliminated from postseason contention. "Today was not a fun day," said center fielder Alfonso Gonzáles. Before this season, the Generals last missed the playoffs in 2051. In the 56 years they have been a College Conference All-Stars franchise, they have missed the playoffs 41 times.
