Connally Belts 5 Hits Friday, February 7th , 2053 It's not something you read about in the sports pages every day -- a 5-for-5 day. For many, it might come around only once in a career -- and for Stephen Connally, it came around today. The 18-year-old first baseman scattered hits all over Chesapeake College Fields to pace the Zenith Zephyrs to a 10-8 victory over the Coca-Cola Splash. Coca-Cola skipper Roberto Molina told reporters in the press room that "Connally deserves a hat-tip." "He hit some good pitches against us," he said. "In fact, according to our scouting reports, Connally hit several that he is not supposed to be able to hit." Stephen Connally doubled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, doubled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
