Terry Rips 3 Homers Against Mouse Saturday, January 18th , 2053 Dan Terry went on an explosive hitting spree against the Disney Mouse at Mummies Ballpark today, launching a trio of blasts to lead the American General Generals to the 16-1 win. The first baseman finished 3-for-6 with 3 runs scored and 10 runs batted in. "It was just one of those days," Terry said in a postgame interview. "I don't know how to explain it. I'm just putting a good swing on the ball." Disney skipper Eddie Taylor said Terry was "locked-in." "We made some pretty good pitches," he said. "Those first two homers were exactly where the pitcher wanted to put them. He's just hot right now -- you've just got to tip your hat to him." Dan Terry struck out in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Porter Brown in the 6th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Chris MartÃnez in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Doyle Fuller in the 9th. This year Terry is batting .125 with 8 hits, 4 home runs, 13 RBIs, 9 walks, .243 OBP and has scored 9 runs. |
